Meet my grandma and grandpa on my father’s side. They are madly, madly in love, so strong despite their failing health, and who I think of when I picture my future with my husband Tim. I love them so much and was so giddy to finally capture a brief moment in their infinite love story, atop the hill they’ve lived on for my entire life.

He’s built some pretty fantastic things for our family in this shop and she’s been collecting dolls, trinkets and bears for years.

Without getting too serious, I just want to express how amazing my gramps is. For years now, he’s been enduring chemotherapy despite having been given only months to live. He’s also been the primary caregiver for my grandma who is entering the late stages of Alzheimer’s. I know it’s not easy for him but he has been WONDERFUL. He loves, he prays and he endures. He’s simply amazing.
