Before I explain what a ‘Day After’ session is, I thought I’d tell you about a big change that has been keeping me away from the computer in recent months BUT promises to improve my quality of life as a small business owner! What, you ask, has happened that is so darn swell?? Well…my husband and I have moved into a lovely live-in/workspace located in the wonderfully art-filled Crossroads area of downtown KC, is what!! It’s been a process pulling everything together and we still have a little ways to go, but it’s JUST about ready to accommodate you fabulous future and current clients of mine!! That’s right, the days of consultations at random coffee shops around town will soon be history and I couldn’t be more excited about it…
Now…let’s talk ‘Day After’ sessions!
I like to think of a ‘Day After’ session as an opportunity to put your wedding clothes back on after the wedding (not literally the day after) and let loose. The best part is that you don’t have to worry about getting your clothes dirty before the ceremony, rush to get to the reception on time and you can easily reschedule due to inclement weather!
Here are some relaxed pics from a session I recently had with my adorable past clients Nicole & Nate at Hotel Q in Westport. The colors there are so warm and rich…the better to cozy up with your sweetie to, LOVE….

Thank you, Nicole and Nate for making the trip out to Kansas City. I had a great time and I hope you did too!! Also a special thanks to Price Leatherbarrow of Blo Salon Studio for sharing his hair and makeup expertise to replicate Nicole’s natural beauty from her wedding day! I still owe you a couple of drinks.
